This photo reportage is about a voluntary based organization, "Old Sacramento Living History Program". I made these photos for my project for the Photojournalism Class at the American River College for which I got an "A".

The OSLHP is governed by the Historic Old Sacramento Foundation, and the main goal of OSLHP: “Bringing History to Life!”. Since 1995, OLSH Program members help citizens and tourists to experience the early history of Sacramento and the California Golden Rush through different historical events open to the public. Each member goes through a mandatory Training Program and chooses a historical figure whom he or she wants to represent; Sacramento History Museum materials are open for all OSLHP members to help them in recreation their characters as precisely as possible. OSLH Program also has members only events to keep the atmosphere of fun and curiosity towards the passion of their lives: history.
